Big Loud / Back Blocks Music and Republic Records artist on the rise Lily Rose drops brand-new song “I Don’t Smoke” on Sept. 3 amid groundbreaking success. Continuing with her “confident ease blending musical styles” (Rolling Stone), Rose delivers the upbeat new track to fans, paired with a new lyric video available everywhere today. “To me, ‘I Don’t Smoke’ is the perfect example of pop-country. With the production, melody, and lyric all leaning into the newer-aged Country genre, I am so proud to release the song,” shares Rose. “It’s my favorite to play live, and I’m excited to get it out for folks to learn the words!” Produced by hitmaker Joey Moi and written by Lalo Guzman, Michael Tyler and Daniel Breland, “I Don’t Smoke” marks Rose’s fifth release since “the charming singer-songwriter” (Music Row) came blazing onto the Country scene in Dec. 2020 with her debut track “Villain.” With the release of “I Don’t Smoke,” Rose has “continued her hot streak” (Spin) she’s set forth with previous releases “Know My Way Around,” “Remind Me of You” and “Overnight Sensation.” And in less than a calendar year full of critical acclaim, Rose has garnered 72M global streams. As Rose rounds out her stacked summer playing fairs and festivals, the “rising star” (Billboard) is prepped and ready to join Chris Lane’s Fill Them Boots Tour which kicks off in Memphis on Oct. 28. KEEP UP WITH LILY ROSE WEBSITE | TWITTER | INSTAGRAM | YOUTUBE ABOUT LILY ROSE:Touting an identifiable sound described as contemporary, vulnerable and raw, Lily Rose is breaking new ground in the Nashville music scene with her new single, “Villain.” On Dec. 1, 2020, Rose posted a clip of “Villain,” a song about a break-up she believed ended cordially, only to find out she’d been painted as the ‘bad guy’ through social media. The song connected significantly with fans, and two weeks later Rose independently released “Villain” on Dec. 15. The single immediately rocketed to the top of the iTunes all-genre chart, where it held steady at No.1 above Taylor Swift’s latest releases for several days and remained in the iTunes Top 30 for five consecutive weeks. One week after the release of “Villain,” SiriusXM The Highway added the explosive track to full rotation. Rose’s reactive single “Villain” caught the attention of Big Loud Records / Back Blocks Music and Republic Records who signed her to a joint-venture record deal in Jan. 2021. Rose grew up in Atlanta as a self-taught drummer and guitarist but it wasn’t until high school that she discovered her voice. As an athlete and distinguished singer, Rose had to decide which avenue to pursue. Bar sets and cover shows in her college town of Athens, GA led to headlining and sold out shows across Athens, Atlanta, Nashville and NYC, prompting her to make the move to Nashville in 2017. Her musical influences range from Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban and Bruce Springsteen to Katy Perry reflecting her innate ability to adopt a “futuristic” 21st Continue reading New Music From Lily Rose “I Don’t Smoke” – Listen Now!→
