  • A car that crashed into a shop front in Croydon on Thursday caused structural damage to the property.

    Emergency services had to attend the incident on Whitehorse Road as it also caused a gas leak.

    A police cordon closing off the road was in place for some time while they dealt with the incident.

    Images taken at the scene show the car had crashed into the front of Croydon Cleaning Supplies.

    James has a condition which requires regular medication which he does not have with him.

    Police say his family are desperate for news that he is OK.

    Sir Richard Sutton was pronounced dead at the scene following an incident at a property near Gillingham in Dorset on Wednesday night.

    A woman in her 60s remains in a serious condition.

    Thomas Schreiber, from the town, is due in court tomorrow, also accused of attempted murder and dangerous driving.

    They were taken into custody for drug supply offences.

    Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident on Linden Pit Path on Tuesday 6thApril at around 10:15am.

    The man was involved in a verbal altercation with a passing cyclist and was then thrown to the ground at great force.

    The suspect fled the scene on his bicycle towards Ottways Lane, Ashford.

    He is described as a white man, around 40 years of age, of a heavy build with grey hair and a short grey beard.

    At the time of the assault he was wearing dark clothing, black cycle helmet and grey cycling breeches.

    Anyone with information is urged to call police.

    35-year-old Simon was reported missing on Thursday.

    The discovery was made shortly before 3:00 o’clock this afternoon.

    The circumstance of the death is not believed to be suspicious and there is no evidence of any third-party involvement at this time.

    Around half of the external wooden decking on the flat roof of the four-storey building was damaged by fire.

    Two people left the property before the Brigade arrived.

    Officers seized 10 dogs during a search warrant at an undisclosed location in Surrey on March the 16th.

    They want potential owners to take a look at the photos on their social media to see if they recognise their pet. 

    The dogs, a mix of Lurchers and Spaniels, continue to be cared for at a secure location.

    A 33-year-old woman from Hammersmith was detained last night at a location in Glasgow and released this morning under investigation.

    Two other people remain in custody in connection with the ongoing investigation.

    Surrey Police are growing increasingly worried for Simon as going missing is extremely out of character for him, and he does not appear to have his vital medication with him.

    Simon, 35, was last seen leaving his home in Cobham at around 2:30am last Saturday 3 April (Easter Saturday). 

    He has not been seen, or been in contact with any of his friends or family, since. He has also missed a number of vital medical appointments.

    Simon is described as white, 5'8" and thin build. He has long brown hair, which he usually wears in a ponytail, and has a brown beard. 

    When last seen he was wearing a dark top, dark trousers and dark trainers with a white sole.

    He was carrying a distinctive Orange and Black Superdry Rucksack, but officers have located his bank cards and phone so it is not clear what was in the bag.

    Officers are releasing photos of Simon, and a bag like the one he is believed to be carrying, in the hope that someone will recognise either him or his bag and be able to help us locate him.

    Wandsworth council has also sent a letter of condolence to Buckingham Palace.

    The Duke reopened the renovated Battersea Park bandstand in 2004.
