  • LIVERPOOL REPORT STAR PLAYER TO THE POLICE

    theliverpooltribune.com | Wed, 15 Aug 2018 19:20:00 +0000

Liverpool may have shot themselves in the foot in an act of madness.

Mo Salah was spotted using his mobile phone while driving into Melwood. Someone at the ground informed other LFC staff and what happened?

Liverpool reported Mo Salah to the police for using his phone while driving. They also cautioned Salah, Liverpool and the Premier League's top scorer last Season, himself about the incident and advised him against using his phone while driving in future.

If a team ever wanted to annoy or upset a player, they have surely done it to Mo Salah. The guy must be livid with the club.
He may even consider a move away from the side that he has rewarded so loyally by scoring nearly 50 goals last Season. It would be hard to blame him if he walked away now after this incident.

But I hope he doesn't and that he puts it all behind him and carries on scoring loads more goals again this year.

  • LIVERPOOL SIGN SWISS STAR SHAQIRI FROM STOKE

    theliverpooltribune.com | Fri, 13 Jul 2018 23:02:00 +0000

Xherdan Shaqiri has joined Liverpool in a £13.5 million deal, after three years in the Premier League with Stoke City that included 84 appearances and a total of 30 goals and assists after spells with Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and FC Basel.

Speaking to reporters at Melwood, he said: As a player you always want to be on the biggest stage in football. A few years ago I wanted to come too but it didn’t happen. I’m really happy that now I’m finally here. I want to improve myself too, I want to be with the best and I want to win titles. That’s what I’m here for."

Klopp has admired the attacker’s versatility, skillset and personality for some time and feels the opportunity to recruit the 26-year-old came at the perfect moment for both parties.
“I think the English phrase to explain the decision to sign Xherdan is a ‘no-brainer’. When someone like him becomes available in this way you have to react if you are smart – and we have,” the manager told Liverpoolfc.com.
“He has speed and ability, has the right amount of arrogance on the football pitch, real bravery to want the ball and influence things.
To play for us these are mandatory requirements.

“We are the perfect move for him in this moment as well I think, because he needs to push himself and challenge himself and our environment encourages that. We will want him to express himself but also learn and improve the areas of his game where he can still make progression.
“From our perspective, he is someone who makes a big difference to the squad and team, because he can fit in so many positions in our system. He gives us greater flexibility in how we can use our current players also. This is cool.
“I know him well from his time in Switzerland and especially Germany – I have been a long-time admirer.

But the added bonus now is that he knows the Premier League", said Klopp "and what it takes to perform in this uniquely intense environment. He also did really well at the World Cup – so he comes to us full of belief and confidence.
“Finally, Xherdan the person will fit in perfectly at Liverpool I believe. He has personality and drive – he is someone who will feed off the positive emotion of our crowd.
He joins a dressing room of really good lads and I know they will welcome him with open arms and help him settle and integrate quickly.”

  • Punters Set to Cash-In on Royal Nuptials

    theliverpooltribune.com | Fri, 11 May 2018 22:34:00 +0000

Punters Set to Cash-In on Royal Nuptials

    With each passing day until

Of course, Britain’s obsession with the weather is not just limited to the royal wedding. However, the bookmakers are keen to provide odds on whether or not those street parties and barbecues held around the country will be a wash-out or not. The current odds from Betfair for a dry day in Windsor (the wedding is in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle) are 4/9, with odds of 13/8 for a downpour. To be fair, we know the British public will have a good ol’ knees up regardless.

The Guestlist:

There has been massive scrutiny over the guestlist, not least because most current UK politicians

The Future:

Just as with media scrutiny over Harry and Meghan, the betting won’t end after the day’s festivities have been concluded. Betfair have also gone opened markets on what the name of the couple’s first child will be: Alice, Arthur and Harry are the 10/1 frontrunners at this point. Boris and Camilla are the 125/1 outsiders. There is also a market on whether Harry will emigrate to the United States by 2020. He is 25/1 to do so and break the hearts of a nation.

  • FROM EUPHORIA TO DEPRESSION WITH LIVERPOOL

    theliverpooltribune.com | Sun, 06 May 2018 23:51:00 +0000

I have not written a thing on this or any site about Liverpool for ages, I can't.

How can I explain to any fan, follower or curious bystander what Liverpool is all about this Season.

Is it a nearly won the League again club, potential Champion's League winners against Real Madrid or are we an insipid, lack-lustre team of pretend winners, wannabee winners, occasional cup winners, I don't know anymore.

Sunday's tired, feeble defeat to Chelsea was as bad a performance as I have seen in ages. It leaves us mired in the ugly race for 4th when we should have been second to Man City if we were any good.

Yet, despite the persistent mediocracy we may pull one more extraordinary win out of this team and Klopp on the 25th May.

Who knows, anything is possible with this Liverpool team and its Manager.

  • SO LONG COUTINHO, ITS WHAT YOU WANTED. THANKS FOR THE £142 MILLION

    theliverpooltribune.com | Sun, 07 Jan 2018 03:09:00 +0000

Southampton are a selling club, mostly to Liverpool with Virgil Van Dijk the latest example.

Lets face it Liverpool are sometimes also a selling club, usually to Barcelona: Mascerano, Suarez and now Coutinho all in mega-money deals to the Spanish Giants.

Usually I am unhappy when we lose a key player from our team, but when it is a petulant, sulky and unsettled player who really wants out then sell, sell, sell at the best possible price and with £142 million then Liverpool have done well over the deal.

We will miss our gifted play-maker who scored 7 this Season and was a very influential player in his days at Liverpool since being signed by the club in 2013 from Inter Milan for £8.5 by Brendan Rodgers.

Farewell Philippe, I hope you and your family enjoy your new life in Spain, thanks for the lack of loyalty, understandable as most South Americans move to Spain eventually, chao.

Now lets go and buy a replacement or two.

  • VAN DIJK SCORES WINNER ON DEBUT FOR THE REDS

    theliverpooltribune.com | Fri, 05 Jan 2018 22:56:00 +0000

Liverpool's record new signing, Virgil van Dijk scored the winner for Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool against Everton at Anfield in a hard-fought victory against the wily old fox Sam Allardyce in the FA Cup.

The £75 million signing had an impressive debut which was crowned with a fine headed goal from an Oxlade-Chamberlain corner late in the game where James Milner had opened Liverpool's account with a well taken penalty, in the first half, in which Liverpool looked comfortable.

Everton's doggedness and at times enterprising football was finally rewarded on a rare breakaway when Glyffi Sigurdsson scored in the 67th minute with a shot from the edge of the box to beat Karius.

Although Liverpool were the better team all evening, Everton were right back in the game.
A succession of Liverpool  corners, all well-delivered by Oxlade-Chamberlain came close until the 86th minute when the £75 million man Van Dijk beat Jordan Pickford to the ball and directed his header into the Everton net for a worthy lead for the Reds.

Liverpool held on from there and it ended in a nervy but satisfactory FA Cup victory against their great rivals.

  • GOOD WIN FOR ROOKIE LIVERPOOL TEAM AT THE AMEX ARENA

    theliverpooltribune.com | Mon, 04 Dec 2017 00:23:00 +0000

So glad that Liverpool beat Brighton away on Saturday. It was like as if deep weight had been lifted off of every Liverpool supporter with the performance and result.

Going into the game we had lost Joel Matip and Joe Gomez to injury and Klopp had to announce a make-shift defence of error-prone Dejan Lovren alongside Emre Can and Georgino Wijnaldum together with the under-used left-back, Andy Robertson.

Thankfully, that defence was spared much blushes by Liverpool's attacking abilities with  Can, Firmino and Coutinho among the goals at the Amex Stadium.

The respected Brighton coach Chris Hughton did have something to cheer when his wasteful striker Glenn Murray scored from a soft penalty decision near the end of an otherwise dominant display by Klopp's Red machine.

Who would have thought it, after all the draws and leaking of goals and a few heavy defeats from Man City and Spurs, Klopp's rookie Reds are fourth in the table ahead of Arsenal and Tottenham, at this moment in time.

Great to see us scoring goals from corners at last.

Let us hope that somehow this will continue into the new year and beyond.

  • LIVERPOOL THROW AWAY ANOTHER LEAD TO DRAW 1-1 WITH CHELSEA

    theliverpooltribune.com | Sat, 25 Nov 2017 23:08:00 +0000

Liverpool blew a great chance to move into the top four with the concession of a strange Willian goal to cancel out another Momo Salah goal at Anfield on Saturday evening.

Klopp left out Mané and Firmino who had torn Sevilla apart in the Champion's League mid-week and opted for Salah, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Coutinho in attack.

In a highly contested game, Liverpool had the better of the match, Salah scored on 65 minutes.

Liverpool then went on the retreat Willian scored from a freak shot/cross into the box and that was it really, two more points dropped from a winning position, story of Liverpool's Season.

  • LIVERPOOL NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE ME ANYMORE

    theliverpooltribune.com | Wed, 22 Nov 2017 01:47:00 +0000

Letting a 3-0 lead slip away to Seville, in Spain at half-time in a Champion's League game  that finished 3-3 in the end has left me speechless, annoyed, fed-up and incredulous.

Firminho scored twice, Mané scored a header from a corner, at least we are beginning to sort out that area.

Moreno reverted to bad type spectacularly, conceded a free-kick for Seville's first goal and then their penalty, time that Klopp's blinkers were finally removed.
Sevilla will not be the only team to expose us this Season if Klopp does not see reason and play his best players, not on a whim, but on form.

Play your best players Klopp, then we might just win something.

  • LIVERPOOL SHOWING SIGNS OF BIG IMPROVEMENT, NOW FIFTH IN THE LEAGUE

    theliverpooltribune.com | Wed, 08 Nov 2017 23:24:00 +0000

God, these International breaks, I just hate them, two weeks of almost zero football to watch, resorting to watching Grand Designs or some old films on TV, while we wait for the real business of The Premier League or Liverpool FC in particular, to start again.

We could have be sitting down in a pile of doom and gloom about Klopp and his team, unable to defend, missing chances and penalties to leave us battling with the likes of Burnley and Watford for mid-table misery.

But, no after going on a winning run of five games in the Premier  League &  Champions League, we now sit in 5th place ahead of Arsenal and others on goal difference.
We are three points behind Chelsea, four behind 2nd-placed Man Utd  and high-flying Spurs.

So it could be worse and it did seem worse after the 2-0 defeat at Leicester, that was a low point in every supporter's heart.
Klopp's credibility was suddenly on the line like never before, his teams couldn't defend and the famed attack was faltering, something had to happen to arrest the crisis  and maybe it was the 7-0 drubbing of Maribor in the Champion's League that was and is the turning point this Season.

The belief had returned, after draws with Spartak Moscow, Newcastle and Man Utd, that big win away from home was a lifting of the wave of expectation that every player, fan and the manager had been under.

Yes we lost along the way to an inform Spurs side but the momentum continued as we beat Huddersfield and Maribor 3-0 at Anfield where both of these teams tried to park the bus but Liverpool still won comfortably.

Our last League game before this International break saw Liverpool visit the London Stadium to inflict a crushing 4-1 defeat to West Ham giving a lesson in counter-attacking football, which saw Slavan Bilic lose his job, which is a shame.

Its funny what a few good results can do to boost morale and self-belief in a team, but the 7-0 thrashing of Maribor was just what the doctor ordered for Klopp and Liverpool.

  • LIVERPOOL RUN OUT EASY WINNERS AGAINST HUDDERSFIELD IN THE END

    theliverpooltribune.com | Sun, 29 Oct 2017 01:14:00 +0000

Liverpool eventually ran out comfortable winners against promoted Huddersfield Town at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

After a sterile first-half where very few chances emerged for either side until Liverpool were awarded a penalty.
Mo Salah took it but it was saved by Issl in the 41st minute with Jordan Henderson's rebound hitting the foot of the post. Nothing much else happened between Klopp's Liverpool and visiting Huddersfield Manager David Wagner in a dull opening half.

    The s
econd half however, exploded into life with goals from Daniel Sturridge who dinked a finish beyond the Huddersfield goalkeeper for the opener on 50 minutes.

Firmino scored a very rare Liverpool goal from a corner thanks to James Milner's quality cross into the box.
Then Gini Wijnaldum danced around Huddersfield's defence to score a third for Liverpool at home.
The win moves us into 6th place in the league on 16 points, twelve behind League leaders Man City on 28 points, alot of ground to make up on the leaders already.

But a welcome return to winning ways at last in the Premier League.

  • HAVE WE DISCOVERED THE MAGIC FORMULA FOR SUCCESS?

    theliverpooltribune.com | Thu, 19 Oct 2017 01:12:00 +0000

Liverpool's stunning 7-0 win at Maribor in Slovenia, finally laid bare the frightening talent of Jurgen Klopp's team.

Solid in midfield, razor-sharp in going forward, lethal in scoring goals from every player and every angle and another clean-sheet under their belts.
It all came good for Liverpool in the Champion's League this week.
With the positioning of under-used James Milner in midfield in this game, Liverpool had a dominance they have seldom felt all Season.

Salah, Firmino and Coutinho prospered against poor opposition in their own back yard scoring seven unanswered goals due largely to Milner's experience, craft, vision and guile in midfield that has been hitherto lacking in a Liverpool performance this term.

Is a  James Milner stint in midfield the answer this Season?

When you stop a 7 game winless streak and turn it into a rout by Liverpool, then Milner is certainly a name Klopp should have on his team-sheet every game, experience counts for everything.

  • LIVERPOOL LOOKING TO BOUNCE BACK AGAINST BURNLEY

    theliverpooltribune.com | Thu, 14 Sep 2017 20:33:00 +0000

Liverpool are looking to bounce back as heavy favourites this weekend against Burnley according to

The game is interesting as both teams have 7 points with lowly Burnley one place above Liverpool in 7th. So, despite our attacking wealth, our porous defending is costing us dearly.
We have a good chance to bounce back from our 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Man City by out-scoring Sean Dyche's side.

Even without the presence of banned striker Sadio Mané, the likes of Firmino, Salah, Sturridge and the return of Philippe Coutinho means Liverpool should have enough about them to beat Burnley comfortably.

  • DEFENSIVE CRISIS AT LIVERPOOL CONTINUES

    theliverpooltribune.com | Wed, 13 Sep 2017 21:47:00 +0000

Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by Seville in the Champion's League opening match at Anfield tonight.

After shipping 5 against Manchester City last weekend, a much-improved attacking performance by Jurgen Klopp's side still failed to yield a victory.

Defensive lapses by Joe Gomez, Dejan Lovren and Emre Can resulted in Yedder's 5th minute opener.

Liverpool, to their credit went on the attack and overturned the deficit with goals by Firmino and Salah.
However, a missed penalty by the Brazilian Firmino, which struck the post, would cost the Reds dearly.
An equalizer by Correa for Seville in the 72nd minute undid all the positive attacking play by Liverpool as they had to settle for a draw at Anfield.
Two points dropped due to poor defending again.

  • LIVERPOOL WANTED €200 MILLION FOR COUTINHO

    theliverpooltribune.com | Sat, 02 Sep 2017 14:05:00 +0000

Liverpool were indeed willing to sell unhappy midfielder Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona on Friday but, only for a huge figure of €200 million about £185 million pounds sterling.

But Barcelona Director of Sports, Albert Soler ruled it out.
"On Friday, after weeks of offers and talks, Liverpool put a price on the player that we wanted [Coutinho]," he said alongside sporting director Robert Fernandez in a news conference on Saturday.
"A price of €200m and we decided we wouldn't do it. That's an example of the way football is now. This club and this board will not get involved in that, though. What's happened in the transfer market this summer has taken us to a totally different model of football which we're not used to."

So the great Catalan club were willing to use every underhand method to lure Coutinho to Spain but when it came to a large fee, they froze. Tough luck gentlemen. Liverpool are no longer a soft touch.

  • BARCELONA WILL SIGN COUTINHO FROM LIVERPOOL FOR £148M

    theliverpooltribune.com | Mon, 28 Aug 2017 16:09:00 +0000

Liverpool have finally relented. Barcelona and want-away star Philippe Coutinho will get their way by agreeing to buy the player for a record £148 million or €160 million euros.

Fenway Sports Group had maintained a 'Not for sale stance' all Summer, but the persistence of the Catalans along with Coutinho's transfer request and his deep unhappiness with Liverpool's position has forced John Henry and Tom Werner to act.

They are believed to have accepted Barcelona's huge bid for the unhappy Brazilian midfielder and he will now be allowed to leave Liverpool to join up with former Liverpool colleague Luis Suarez who also had his head turned by the Spanish outfit.

Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez confirmed talks were ongoing.
Speaking to BeIN Sports, Fernandez said: “Coutinho? We are continuing the negotiations."
“We do not want and we do not have the right to say what we are doing."
But Barca Sporting Director Robert Fernandez says talks were ongoing over a fee of €160million for the player.

  • £130 MILLION IS ALOT OF MONEY FOR COUTINHO, TAKE IT AND MOVE ON LIVERPOOL

    theliverpooltribune.com | Wed, 23 Aug 2017 00:43:00 +0000

Barcelona have come in with a new improved bid of £130 million for Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

The lecherous Catalonians refuse to accept defeat in their pursuit of one of Liverpool's best players all Summer and after their pathetic ultimatum on Sunday of a "Final Offer" of £118 million which was ignored by the Liverpool hierarchy their next desperate gambit is a very large cash sum for the Brazilian play-maker.

At this late stage I would argue that Liverpool FC should give in, take the money and let an unsettled player leave Liverpool.

It's as if we don't have a choice, we are being corralled into selling the guy to the Spaniards no matter what.

Take the money Liverpool, let the lad go but spend it wisely on a new defender and two midfielders.

  • LIVERPOOL TO BID FOR DRAXLER IF COUTINHO LEAVES

    theliverpooltribune.com | Fri, 18 Aug 2017 15:45:00 +0000

Liverpool Should Move for Julian Draxler if Philippe Coutinho Leaves

Source: Julian Draxler via Source: Philippe Coutinho via Twitter

Draxler is younger than Coutinho and is potentially better. The 23-year-old can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, and the 2014 World Cup winner with Germany can only improve as a footballer in the coming years. A player blessed with speed and who is equally adept on two feet, Draxler is hugely experienced for a player of his age. The German made over 100 league appearances at Schalke before his move to VfL Wolfsburg in 2015. Even following his move from Wolfsburg to PSG in the January transfer window, Draxler was not exactly poor or disappointing. The attacker scored four goals and provided one assist in 12 Ligue 1 starts and one goal in two Champions League matches.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will know all about Draxler from his time in Germany. True, things have not gone as well as expected at PSG, but there is no doubt that the Germany international is a superb footballer who could become world class in the coming years. With Arsenal also reported to be interested in Draxler, it is important that Liverpool make a quick move, or else they could lose him to a direct rival for the Premier League title. Liverpool are not in a position to sign the best of the best even if they are ready to splash the clash, but the Reds can certainly entice Draxler. And so they should.

  • PROBABLE LIVERPOOL TEAM TO FACE WATFORD

    theliverpooltribune.com | Sat, 12 Aug 2017 00:03:00 +0000

Liverpool play their opening League fixture of 2017/18 away to Watford at 12:30pm this Saturday without Philippe Coutinho (back-injury), Adam Lallana (thigh) and Daniel Sturridge (thigh).

Despite these injuries, Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to field a strong team in a bid to get off to a good start in the Premier League this Season with new signing Momo Salah expected to start up-front along with Mané and Firmino.

James Milner may return to his preferred midfield position as Klopp seems to have been impressed with Moreno's new maturity and assurance in the left-back role in pre-season.

Lets hope that whatever side Klopp puts out that we pull out a win against Watford.

  • THE BALL IS NOW IN COUTINHO'S COURT: BARCELONA

    theliverpooltribune.com | Thu, 10 Aug 2017 01:57:00 +0000

With FC Barcelona having lodged a new improved bid of £90.3 million for Liverpool favorite, Philippe Coutinho.
What happens next is anyone's guess.

The little magician is reported to have agreed personal terms on a wage deal with the Catalans weeks ago through his agent but he has yet to put in a formal transfer request to leave Liverpool.

Words like amical agreement cut no ice in today's mercenary world of football transfers, instead it is Liverpool FC refusing a mega offer from Barcelona while the player himself says and does nothing, leaving us all in a state of inertia.

This goes one of two ways:
    1. The player asks for a transfer and joins the Spaniards with Liverpool at a substantial financial gain.
    2. Coutinho stays at Anfield to help us compete in the Champions League, the Premier League and the Cup competitions.
Either way, it is up to Coutinho as to what he wants to do as player-power since the Bosman ruling came into force some years ago.

Liverpool fans, Klopp and FSG may just have to accept that and use the funds to try and replace him.

  • SIGN KEITA ON A PRE-CONTRACT AND GET VAN DIJK FOR £70 MILLION

    theliverpooltribune.com | Mon, 24 Jul 2017 00:47:00 +0000

Despite Liverpool having made serious attempts to land RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita for a final figure of £75 million, they have failed in their bids to sign him this Season.

I would suggest that Liverpool should instead try to tie him on a deal for next Season when his £48 million release clause comes into force.

Liverpool should instead look to buy Virgil Van Gijk for whatever money that selling club Southampton are looking for: £60 to £75 million, without tapping him up again.

Go about it the right way Reds, make an official bid, have it rejected, make a higher bid, have it accepted and we land ourselves a quality centre back as the current players Lovren, Klavan and Matip are collectively not good enough and need replacing Matip excluded.

Get it done Liverpool, whatever it takes.

  • VAN DIJK LOOKS SET TO JOIN LIVERPOOL AS HE IS BANISHED FROM TRAINING BY SOUTHAMPTON

    theliverpooltribune.com | Fri, 21 Jul 2017 22:40:00 +0000

Virgil van Dijk has in effect gone on strike at Southampton in an attempt to force a transfer to Liverpool, according to Mauricio Pellegrino. The manager said that the Dutch defender had told him he wanted to leave and was not available to play for the club. Pellegrino has responded by ordering the Holland international to train alone, away from his team-mates.

It now looks like a matter of when rather than if the talented Dutch centre back will join Liverpool. The Saints want a sizeable £75 million for the player they signed from Celtic for around £13 million in 2015.

So the Buy and Sell Merchants at Southampton stand to make another large profit on a player they have bought on the cheap if this deal goes through.

It remains that Van Dijk has still to hand in a formal transfer request before Liverpool can lodge the probable figure of £70 million needed to get the quality defender.
Otherwise, Southampton will accuse the Reds of tapping up their player once more to the Premier League.

Lets get this deal sorted if we are to be serious contenders for the League Title this Season.

  • BARCELONA BID £72 MILLION TO BUY COUTINHO FROM LIVERPOOL

    theliverpooltribune.com | Fri, 21 Jul 2017 00:52:00 +0000

Barcelona have revived their interest in Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho. They have bid €80 million (£72 million) for Coutinho but Liverpool have rejected it and want to keep their star man.

Barcelona will try again with a bid above the £75 million they paid the Reds for Luis Suarez with Neymar keen on the deal bringing his fellow Countryman to the Spanish giants.

This was always an annoying possibility as Coutinho is one of the most gifted attacking midfielders in the Premier League and was bound to attract the interest of Barca or Real Madrid sooner rather than later.

While Liverpool themselves have been bidding big sums on Naby Keita of RG Leipzig to no avail, Barcelona want Coutinho to join up with Luis Suarez again at the Nou Camp.

Let us hope that the little magician from Brazil rejects their overtures for another Season and remains a Liverpool player for another vital campaign in the Premier League.

  • LUCAS LEIVA IS LEAVING LIVERPOOL FOR LAZIO

    theliverpooltribune.com | Sat, 15 Jul 2017 00:27:00 +0000

One of Liverpool's unsung hero's Lucas, the original boy from Brazil, signed from his home club Gremio by Rafa Benitez back in 2005 is the subject of a £5 million bid by Italian side Inter Milan.

At first he didn't impress Liverpool fans with his clumsy tackles and ineffectual performances in midfield as a partner to Captain Steven Gerrard. However, as time went on as Lucas got accustomed to the demands of the break-neck speed of the Premier League, he began to gain something approaching cult-status with the Anfield following and supporters around the World.
His no-nonsense approach and tough tackling which usually earned him a yellow card in almost every game he played for the Reds epitomized his commitment to Liverpool FC and the City itself which he has grown to love over the years.

Although he has never won a trophy despite Liverpool winning League Cups when he was cruelly injured, he was awarded a special commemoration of his ten years of service to Liverpool Football Club last Season by Kenny Dalglish as a gesture to the Brazilian.

A £5 million fee has been agreed between Liverpool and Lazio for the player's transfer. I am sure that an agreement can be reached by both clubs and Lucas himself as he looks forward to a new chapter in his career.

  • SALAH SCORES AGAINST HIS NEW TEAM LIVERPOOL

    theliverpooltribune.com | Wed, 12 Jul 2017 23:03:00 +0000

    THE CHAMPIONS CUP 2016

    Dear Readers,

Did you all know that our new signing Momo Salah actually scored the winning goal against us in The Champions Cup last Summer while he was a Roma player?

Yes, our newest recruit scored the winner as AS Roma beat an experimental pre-Season Liverpool team 2-1 in The Champions Cup last August as Sheye Ojo's goal was cancelled out by Edin Dzeko and our new man Salah bagged himself a winner against his new team this year.

Funny old game, keep banging the goals in Momo Salah for Liverpool once you get back from your visa issues, (madness that).
